The Hilltop Crip Gang (HTC) is probably the best known homegrown “Crip” gang from Washington State. In the late 1980's this gang was founded by two Tacoma brothers, Diamond and Malone Boyd. They started off as drug runners for Los Angeles gang members that were in Tacoma selling drugs. After they got tired of doing the dirty work for the LA gangsters these brothers and a few of their cousins started HTC. The names of some other the original members are as follows, Evans Boyd III, Kevin Bonds, Robert Bonds, Andre Bonds and Kenneth Boyd who was shot and killed by the Tacoma Police in 1999. Diamond and Malone Boyd are both serving 20+ years in prison. The HTC gang territory is Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood bounded by 6th Avenue (north), South 25th Street (south), Yakima Avenue (east) and Sprague Avenue (west). The heart of this gangs territory is South 23rd Street & Martin Luther King JR Way. That is the intersection where it all started. Their rivals are all Blood gangs, especially East Side Piru. They also fight with Gangster Disciple Nation and various Crip gangs. The Hilltop Crips are also one of the most violent gangs this area has ever seen. Many of their members have been involved in homicides, drive-by shootings, robbery, aggravated assault and drug sales of marijuana, cocaine and meth. As membership of this gang grows so does the cities they are active in. They have been reported in Pierce County, King County, Grant County and Bellingham, WA. They are also reported as very active in Shelton and McNeil Island Corrections Centers. On February 9th, 2010, Tacoma Police and FBI launched a major crackdown on the Hilltop Crip Gang, and charged 32 members with up to 50 crimes, everything from theft to attempted murder and drug sales of cocaine.

From what I've heard Jeffery has passed away. The guy in the wheelchair wearing yellow is reported to be living in Lakewood, but is now mentally unstable*

uhhh!!! thanks but I still don't really think that answers my origional question  btw u down with H.T.C? To answer your question homie... yes the HILL is hella active still even though hella homies is incarcerated, snitchin, dead, moved, etc... it still goes down in the hood... who knows how many members there are??? lol just like Central District and South End, its hella different sets on the Hill .... but i would guess around 200-300 members... remember it started in the 80's so its OGs in their 40's and 50's all the way down to youngin ass 12 year olds puttin in work... but yes the hill is active, stays in beef with other hoods in the tac.... if you really wanna know go to McCarver Park on 23rd & J ... the Hill is the closest Tacoma neighborhood you would find compared to maybe an LA neighborhood... it just has that feel.... its where MLK Street is... a lot of smokers, you see OG's in wheel chairs, scrapers on dubs wit hella beats.... other hoods just seem fake. The hill used to always beef with ESP 44 Block but recently they really been goin at it with 96th (a newer hood in Parkland) ever since one of the dudes from 96th got smoked by the Hill... also Knoccouts which hood is 47th by the Tacoma Mall (the dudes off of oakes who be posted at the Circle K gas station) ... so I hope that helps you out a lil... and i hope no feds are reading... haha even tho they probably already know. hope that helped you out, and by the way im not from the hood just afilliated.. |

Hilltop ain't active like it was B-tween like '87- '96. Eastside is way more lok'd out these days! Don't forget Bloods was on the Hill around the same time as the crips but after the movie Colors came out everyone over there wanted to be blued-up. There are still OG HTB's from the early days near 8th and cushman, a few samoan Pirus out there too. The reason i say Hilltop ain't that active anymore is because since like the early 90's the cops installed those cameras that could spot fools shootin' dice 2 miles down the road! Also i'm up there all the time with the family always flamed up and never once been called out! Also, city of Tac has been gentrifying the downtown area while slowly working it's way up the hill. Most
fools get bumped to either lakewood or eastside.
HTc ain' really bangin' with ESP 44th because now we got taco gangstas claimin' prison gang stuff and stupid chi-town wanna be gangs all in between the hill and eastside. Either c or B, choose up, but keep this westcoast!!!!!!!!!!!

does anyone know the Brooks brothers from HTC? they originally from New Orleans i think...one of the bros use to be my neighbor down here in the lower valley after he moved from the west side of the state,pretty cool guys they liked to smoke and drink and didnt have no beef with me or any of my homies....just wondering if any of yall knew em or still talked to em.
