Reading these stories takes me back. Back when gangs use to fight with fists and sometimes with knives and bats, but not guns. I grew up in Mabton in the early to mid 90’s. Low riders and Dayton’s! I was in a “so-called” gang called the TINY BOYS or TB13. A guy called Silent and his brother started the team. He like most Hispanics at the time came from California. The gang was also in Grandview. Our rivals were the BGL’s, also from Mabton. I think one of the main dudes in that click was called Too Short (yes because of his size) but he was tough. I think his brother was called Daffy. (I fought Daffy, it was mostly shoving.) Anyways the BGL’s were backed by Jerry and his LVL’s. At the time, Jerry was a big, scary and intimidating dude. (I met Jerry a few years after his LVL days and he ended up being a cool guy. As I’m sure all the guys I mentioned here probably are or were.) In my opinion most (but not all) the Tiny Boys in Mabton wanted to be in a “gang” to appease to the girls. I remember chicks calling us the preppy gangsters. Really? Not tough ones like Jerry? WTF! LOL The names mentioned in these blogs brings back memories; good, bad and sad. I remember the Peter murder. I also remember some guy named Bugs was murdered as well. I was at the funeral, so sad that people lose their lives. It really wasn’t worth it. But that’s a story for another day. Anyways I might catch some shit for this but these were the days as I remember them.

Man you vatos dont know shit. I was there when that shit was just starting and I used to think that so called gang life was soo cool. Back then we used to fight with bats and knives and mostly our fist. Im from Los Angeles and only lived in sunnyside for 2 years and now that Im older and I know better Ill be straight up with you. Like i said i was there in 1990 to 93 and your gangs then were like gangs here in 1980. As i am older now I can tell you thats all bullshit. Raza killing Raza is what they want. Things are different now and LVL por vida and all that bullshit will fade out when your in your 20s or so. Most of you are not from Sunnyside or even THE STATE OF WA but you claim it as your hood. Chale. I was down for the homies like Sleepy, Silent and the Flores family back then and even had homies from the nortenos like Cuco ( badest vato I ever known) a better guy today. Im proud. But its all fake ese and one day you will realize it too vatos. My biggest regret with that was ditching school then c7z it was so easy. Not to be preaching or nothing but one day you will realize. Aint no sunshine behind bars ese.And whats this lokotes shit? Gang is called Lil Valley Locos.

Hey Brad. I'm from Pocos Locos of Moses Lake. We don't beef with LVL. We pretty much only had beef wit Cesar Adame, & he turned out to be no good anyways. Now LVL's got him on greenlight for snitching

The "Little Valley Lokotes" (LVL) is one of the oldest and most wide spread Surenos gangs in the Pacific Northwest. This gang was formed in the late 1980's in Granger, Washington. I have been givin conflicting stories how they started, but the one that is most creditable is members split off from the "Bell Garden Lokotes" after a dispute or fight at a house party. Two families that played a major role in the start of LVL was the Flores and Cantus’ families. A lot of the original members are locked up in prison for violent crimes committed in the Yakima Valley during the past 20 years. Violent criminal activity linked to this gang includes robbery, carjacking, drive-by shootings, home invasions and homicide. According to the Washington Drug Threat Assessment, this gang is involved in the drug distribution of cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine. Allies of the LVL gang include all Surenos gangs in the city of Yakima. Florencia 13 (Yakima Valley, Grant County), Surenos Villains, South Land Villains, Florencia 13 NHD (Seattle) and Varrio Surenos Lokotes (Pierce County). Rivals of the LVL gang include every Norteno gang, Bell Garden Lokotes & The Ghetto Boys (Yakima Valley), West Side Blood Gang & Street Mobb (Seattle). This gang is so wide spread I can’t really pinpoint their territory or hood. Gang membership is estimated at 200-300 members just in the Yakima Valley. Here is a list of all the cities I have documented LVL gang activity. Yakima County, WA (found in most cities and towns) Prosser, WA Kennewick, WA Spokane, WA Quincy, WA Othello, WA Moses Lake, WA Ephrata, WA Seattle, WA Lynnwood, WA Everett, WA Auburn, WA Kent, WA Tacoma, WA Lakewood, WA Centralia, WA Chehalis, WA Corpus Christi, TX Oregon State Montana State California State (please contact me if any of this information is incorrect) Sunnyside LVL's Grandview LVL's Moses Lake LVL's Centralia LVL's LVL Graffiti

LVL started in late 80s like 89 or so by the Flores brothers and Cortez family. Marylou and her brother. At the time the oldest member was in his 20s. It actually started from some vatos from El Monte Flores in So Cali who started there own clica up there. It wasn't about drugs and and driveby then.. it was cuz southern cali families lost there jobs and so people from LA were moving up north for farm work.. There kids were rebellious and groups from xiv were picking on the southerners so they did what they had to do to survive.. Lil Valley started from a group that broke off of BGL which btw Bell Gardens is a city in South East Los Angeles. At first it was a small group w Eloy, Mike and Frank and the other Flores brother. Aka sleepy, silent and idk the other guys gang name. I El Chicano self proclaimed member hung w them but never got in cuz I only lived in WA for 2 years. I'm from El MOnte CA. Most of the

I'm all grown up now and thank God I never did anything stupid enough to get me locked up. I realize now that's all bullshit. Cuz were all the same race and fighting for territory that don't even belong to us. I can't sell my street or my city. It's not mine to sell. Most of the
