Brad if you wanted to know. originally 26th and cherry was the spot for Tbone and the original Santana Blocc Crips. I met him when I was 11 years old. He had put on 2 of my older cousins on. Yeah, they had Cherry sewn up for a while. When Tbone was locked up, Rerun and Fish were holding it down. You could find them in from of Jordan's Pharmacy all the time. They were putting on a bunch of the young'uns from the neighborhood. It wasn't until the early 90s that they got run off. Those were crazy times... It heated up in the CD when Tbone got out. It took the folks on Union, the Valley Hood, and the Elms to run them out. I think I seen you post on another board (if that was indeed you), so I know you were around for a bit of it. Most of the Valley went to Garfield, so it was always drama going too and from school and it was always some drama about to pop off at AM/PM. If you see this post, I would love to hear some of your Seattle stories (at least ones that are safe to post )

It's about time we get some more Seattle guys on here! Seattle used to have a bunch of crews back before the bloods and crips. When they came up in the mid and late eighties, it was just another way to express the local rivalries. Before then, there were two major crews; CDF (central district family) and SEC ( southern end crew). There were always fights between them, on the 7, 48, 42, etc.. bus routes. Then there were crews like OTB, J2C, JUN, DWTC, ETC... these were b-boy and tagging crews. Many of the same groups later evolved into various GD, piru, and crip sets under various names. There were lots of small groups that were pre current gangs, but still claimed streets and neighborhoods, like deuce six. I am most familiar with things in the central.

Whatever happened to them MOA niccahs ? The masters of art or whatever. I caught a faid wit one of them niccahs way bacc in the day like 1990. Them Low Profile niccahs is new school really. I miss bacc in the days when we used to kicc it. Problem with Seattle is you really don't have sent boundries like we have in L.A / Compton. Everyone really just goes where they want to go. Imean the CD really the only area where you know what areas are what. You get into the Southend then you'd have everyone and they momma seeing each other at Skyway Bowl or southcenter mall then you know it's be on. I miss Seattle and haven't been bacc more then once in 15 years but I still got a gang a homies up there. well the ones who are free. I knew a gang of them Holly Park Hoovers too. One of my best homies was Lil Wolf Loc R.I.P , Big snoopy, Lil Jbone, and Junebug R.I.P God Bless all and Merry Christmas to All
Oh another ols school gang was the Pointside Gangsters and Mad Pak ( the somaon gang) they were both highpoint west seattle way bacc in the day also.

That AM PM was always a good place for a shoot out, Rumor had it that TBone let of a whole clip from the Uzi in front of that AM PM and told them CD niccahs Tanas was on Cherry to stay. But that was told to me by my big cousin. I almost got lit up at that corner in 93 right before I came bacc to cali. Good thing that niccah couldn't aim.

Sometimes I sit back and trip that I am still here, because we lost so many good ones on all sides. am pm was always a risk, for everyone. I am not sure about tbone and the Uzi, but he did come out like a general, had all of cherry fall in line and fight for their spot, even if they did finally have to give it up. I give them credit, because it took heart to hold they ground when the rest of the cd wanted them evicted. I had my fair share of close calls... Got caught slippin hard by the Oz in 91 or 2, but managed to mash off before he could squeeze one off. I guess we're both lucky.

Here is a email I received a few years back from a guy. He was a member of DWTC and seemed to know a lot about the history of the Southend/CD beef. The following is part of what he wrote to me.**What it do my nigga...Yeah I could help ya out.... How the whole CD and SouthEnd started was like this...SouthEnd and CD was united as one under Folks...Folks came up here started by Big Al and he blessed 12 niggas...called the Dirty Dozen...The Dirty Dozen then blessed they friends and family and Folks spread rapidly. Everyone was coo Southend Niggas was always in the CD kickin it, cuzz they all Folks... (OG Breeze) was shot and killed by a CD nigga and thats when it all started off. 1986!!! He was the first to die in this BS. Every since then its been on. So it was DWTC vs CD basically. We claiming Southend and we goin @ it with the CD so when they crips got large they started goin at it too and its been on . Main gangs in this was every gang in the Southend and CD almost...Gangs that exist and gangs that faded away...DWTC was the ones that started. They battled with CDF which is the Central District Family. Main gangs thats apart of this is: DWTC, Hoover, Tre 8 & Holly Blocc, Cloverdale (now)...The Samoans are part of it but not really...In the CD its: Deuce 8, Valley Hood, Union, LP, Deuce 0, thats the main ones beefing.** This guy has some real shit in this post and some BS. Low Profile (LP) did not exist back then, that's new booty shit. Now maybe he's referring to Lime Hood Piru, he loses most of his credibility if he is speaking on LP. Some other gangs were in the west side like Blood Stone Villains. This had to be around 1986-88, but I lived near Top Hat in White Center and I was like 9 years old and I remember they had a crack house on my street and the sheriffs wouldn't even come down our block w/o 5 patrol cars. Ofcourse I was a lil kid so my memory could be a little exaggerated. Anyway I remember it was like 10 of them and whenever my friends and I would walk past their spot they'd hit us up to see if we wanted to buy some rock. You remember that anti-crack commercial where this black kids' crackhead brother sneaks into his room at night and windes up shaking the kid down wanting his allowance? Well if you don't, then shit.. I guess I'm fuckin' OLD! So obviously we say no because we had those commercials scaring the shit out of us plus we seen crackheads just around the neighborhood. This went on for a good two years I'd say eventually I became fond of these cats and they thought I was a cool kid. One of them asked me if I wanted to make some fast cash, I said yeah. I made deliveries for these fools for a short period of time and eventually my parents found my money stash and wanted to know where the hell a 12 year old could get that kind of money, he paid me $50 a run and I stacked it because I wanted one of those Dwight Gooden wiffle ball pitching machines! The whole block was already fed up with the BSV's and dope fiends. When I told my dad what I had done needless to say,not only did he whoop my ass but he called his motorcycle club which will remain nameless and that night pretty much the whole block got strapped up and ran them out. None of this made the papers. Like 2 weeks later the one dude who I made the runs for came back, gunning for me I'm guessing. He tried to sneak up on the house but my neighbor happened to be outside and saw him. So he went and got his dog and rifle and fired a shot to scare him off. Not too long after that I.saw the BSV's had been busted in Tacoma selling dope. But the story I just told you never even made the papers. So if something like that doesn't make headlines imagine how many others didn't and don't to this day. Anyway, hope that helps a bit.

The Tanas ended staking claim to Imperial Lanes if I remember correctly. Yeah from 85-93 was some crazy shit main. Maybe you remember those IVLN guys that wore white bandanas as well? I can't remember when I had a run in with those cats, but I know it was downtown. Then over in WC the LABZ Cambodian gang started up in Park Lake in like 89-90 and the ULs around the same time and those two heated it up even more. Yeah I remember them MOAs, UBN,VOS, all the old school local sets. Did you know Pretty Blood from VOS? Or Loony Blood from SMP?

He was about 10, on his bike, trying to kick it with us older Gz in the VH. I know his whole family. I used to try to get him to steer clear of it. He was a good kid. I knew loony too. I'm not remembering ivln, but I was central thru and thru. It was south end and WSeattle that had most of the Asian gangs. I did know some UBN when I would kick it in west Seattle.
