Thanks for the info TacKo... I will be sure to add those to the list really soon. You know I found a Lime Hood Piru tag in Lake City once, but was never sure if they were active. And someone told me about Villains of Society, I must have just forgot about them.. Send me a e-mail about United Latinos at (nw_gangs@comcast.net) or just write up something on the History section of this forum! Peace!!

All I can say is they still have members in Tacoma, how active they are... IDK? I've never found any graffiti from them and I've never spoke with them. So I'm guessing they are on the way way down low.

I've never seen much gang related activity in Ballard, but while doing my research a few stories came up out of Ballard in the 1990's. The main one was from 1994 when a 16 year old girl named Melissa Fernandes was hit in a drive-by shooting at Ballard High School. The beef was between some Asian gangs I think. Some of the older guys on here might remember about that.

What do you mean by "active"? Like if you mean are these gangs killing rivals, no most gangs in Seattle aren't killing anyone. Tagging graffiti? The thing I've learned about Black gangs in Seattle is they don't tag nearly as much as Mexican gangs. Most of these gangs you've listed are probably dealing small amounts of drugs, thefts like car break-ins, burglary and probably some street fights.. Thats just my opinion though. There are exceptions for everything, so some of these gangs may put in a little more work from time to time.
