The state, the city, the hood, the block, the street. Aint non of it ours my uso's, we just live in it. The truest thing that is ours, since the day we are born, no matter where we are born, is SOS, (SONS OF SAMOA), or (SON OF SAMOA) This will always be true no matter what age you reach or gang you start with. When your wisdom kicks in, you will find that SOS has nothing to with a gang but the ancient warrior culture that we samoans are born from. In our samoan culture, we are warriors with tribal mentallties and are taught fa'aaloalo (respect), to each other to our family, elders and to other races. Crips, bloods or any other gang name is something that we uso's start out with because we are born there or live there. All uso's are SONS OF SAMOA or is a SON OF SAMOA no matter the gang. I no longer crip just rep SOS not as a gang member, but as a the warrior that I am, living, learning, and hoping for the best for my people. RESPECT TO ALL MY USO'S

RSP Respect Samoan People, Royal Samoan People, alot of the homies started out in Garden Grove. We used to kick it with Hardtimes, thats where we lived. We did our own thing crazy crow and bam bam put together Hoodlum crip boys. The hoid was mixed and alot of Usos wanted our own thing , samoan, oc crip , RSP was started and still holding it down. MOP RIP.HOMIE.

I was looking up Samoan culture and came across this website. And yeah, for the record, I'm a "white boy". But I was fortunate enough to grow up in a multicultural community. I didn't know anything about South Pacific cultures until I lived in Guam. I tried to learn the language, but kept fucking up. Even so, the Chamorros were cool with that. Talk about feeling welcome. I made friends quickly. The weather was good most of the time, and hovered around 85 F most of the time, just like the Ocean. The weed was expensive, and not nearly as good as what get here in Seattle. But after a few beers we were happy just to have some bud. The only thing I din't like about Guam is how the U.S. federal government would spent hundreds of millions of dollars on military bases, while not giving even half a fuck about the shitty education system. I know that the people of other Indigenous Island Trust Territories, including Samoa, are treated even worse.
Anyway, after moving to the Seattle area, many of my first friends were here Samoan. I didn't know then, and still don't know much about this gang thing. All know is the local Samoan community here is really tight, and that they have been good to me and my family. So, if any one from the Samoan community happens to read this, I just want to say thanks for being so cool.
In ending I just want to say that, according to this website, it looks like some people don't like each other because some have different loyalties. But that's exactly how the U.S. government wants you to think. And as long as those fucks got us all hating each other over color, religion, and other affiliations, they win, and nothing will ever change. The rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer, and the fuckin pigs will continue to knock down our doors, tear apart our families, and lock us up for even the smallest non violent offence. This has to stop if we want our kids to grow up in a free and fair society with equal opportunity.
Because right now this shit sucks. We live in a police state where cops are way out of control and rarely held accountable for their actions. These motherfuckers murder people on live TV, and they keep getting away with it. So unless we are able to resolve our personal difference soon, and stand up to the government thugs who extort us with fines, steal our property, enslave us in for-profit jails, we will just continue to get fucked.
